Compassionate Cultures make us Future Fit

enhancing creativity, engagement and agility;

boosting productivity, building competitive edge

We work with Individuals, Teams and Organisations to develop leadership capability which enables them to thrive as human entities as well as business and economic ones

How we lead in business dictates the culture of our organisation. And culture drives everything, loyalty, engagement, results.

“Culture drives everything”

Without results, businesses fail. So this is something as leaders, we can’t ignore.  We believe the answer is Compassionate Leadership.

“Without results, businesses fail”

Compassionate Leaders have a positive impact on those entrusted to their care. They lead in a way that encourages engagement and loyalty. They create Compassionate Cultures, enabling organisations to thrive as human entities, as well as business and economic ones.

Solutions that are transformative, sustainable and flexible…

Our aim, in the creation of Compassionate Cultures, is to bring you solutions that are  not only transformative, but sustainable; ones that serve everyone in your organisation. When we connect compassion with culture, we create infinite possibilities

Solutions which:

  • Have the potential to serve everyone in your organisation providing a consistency in approach and creating a common language language so that their impact lives on far beyond the short time we will be with you
  • Focus on 3 dimensions; Self, Others and Collectives to bring breadth and perspective
  • Are grounded in the 7 attributes of a Compassionate Culture
  • Have a clear outcome focus; increasing resilience and agility; improving talent retention, engagement and result

We know one size doesn’t fit all, so we design solutions that  can be accessed in a variety of ways – as a complete programme, or designed  in  bitesize chunks; delivered face to face or  virtually; or  a combination of all of these elements.

How we lead in business shapes the culture of our organisation…

Work can and should be a place where we find joy a place to thrive and grow.  This is the  “why” of  Compassionate Cultures and the reason it is the first of the 7 attributes.

How we lead in business shapes the culture of our organisation, and culture drives everything;  loyalty, engagement, results. Without results, businesses fail. So this is something as leaders, we can’t ignore.  We believe the answer is Compassionate Leadership.

Compassionate Leaders have a positive impact on those entrusted to their care. They lead in a way that encourages engagement and loyalty. They create Compassionate Cultures, enabling organisations to thrive as human entities, as well as business and economic ones.

Compassionate Leadership –
The Framework

Compassionate leaders operate in 3 dimensions:  self, others and collectives. Solutions grounded in the 3 dimensions deliver:

  • A deep understanding of the power and potential of compassionate leadership
  • The capability and  commitment to recognise, realise, nurture and protect the unique brilliance  in yourself and others
  • The confidence to lead in an ever increasingly matrixed world

There are 3 things that compassionate leaders need to do consistently and authentically…

Compassionate leaders truly understand and value Uniqueness

  • They focus on strengths not weaknesses
  • They listen without judgement to see the whole person behind the workplace façade
  • They understand who they are leading, what they do best and what they need to be at their best.

Compassionate Leaders Provide Meaning

  • They Inspire others through story telling that brings the organisation’s purpose to life in the everyday
  • They are clear on the organisation values and principles  that  are the compass to inform decision making and behaviours
  • They create teams that feel empowered and take accountability for the part they play

Compassionate Leaders enable the power of collaboration

  • They build connected teams  with high levels of trust and agility
  • They  create environments where diversity and honesty are respected and embraced
  • They encourage innovation, clear that sharing mistakes and lessons learnt are an essential part of the journey

Leadership is the stewardship of lives entrusted to you

Compassion is courageous, caring, strong and effective…

In our experience there are many hours spent in conversations about what we want to achieve, there are significantly less hours spent in conversations about how we need to be in order to succeed in delivering those things. The final 3 attributes of a Compassionate Culture focus on how we lead ourselves and others with care and courage:

We have a choice on how we approach every conversation, every decision; on how we spend our time, how we use the resources available to us.

Choices fuelled by courage, driven through compassion lead to choices that are strong and effective.

Leadership is a mindset not a position. It encompasses how we lead ourselves as much as how we lead other.

Are we  proactively choosing the life we want to lead, the impact we want to have or are we simply reacting to what lands at your feet?

When we genuinely care for each other and the business as we would our family, how we lead  takes on a completely different dynamic.

We have the right conversations at the right time in the right way.  It means we know there will be good and not so good days, and that’s OK.

As human beings, we are wired to belong…

Work can and should be a place where we find joy a place to thrive and grow.  This is the  “why” of  Compassionate Cultures and the reason it is the first of the 7 attributes.

As human beings we are wired to belong, to be part of something that provides meaning, to care for and be cared for in the pursuit of a common goal. Unfortunately, this is not how it feels in many teams in our workplaces today. We believe the answer lies in building more Compassionate Cultures. Teams that have compassion at the heart of everything they do are courageous, caring, strong and effective. They create a culture that enables them, and their organization, to thrive as human entities, as well as business and economic ones.

Compassionate Teams –
The Framework

Compassionate leaders operate in 3 dimensions:  self, others and collectives. Solutions grounded in the 3 dimensions deliver:

  • A deep understanding of the power and potential of teams with compassion at the heart their culture
  • The  capability and commitment to recognise, realise, nurture and protect the unique brilliance  in yourself and  each other
  • The agility to deliver in an ever increasingly matrixed world

There are 3 things that compassionate teams need to do consistently and authentically…

Compassionate teams truly understand and value Uniqueness

  • They play to each others strengths to enable the success of the team
  • They listen without judgement to see the whole person behind the workplace façade
  • They understand who they really are, what they do best and what they need to be at their best.

Compassionate teams are meaning-led

  • Inspired by the purpose of the organisation  and the  contribution they make
  • The organisation’s values and principles act as a  compass to inform decision making and behaviours
  • They feel empowered and take accountability for the part they play

Compassionate teams understand the power of collaboration

  • They work on developing  high levels of trust  to maximise their ability to improve and innovate with agility
  • They  create environments where diversity and honesty are respected and embraced
  • They celebrate the success and share the failures knowing  that the  lessons learnt are an essential part of the journey
